iakobinlabs

Terms of use

Last updated: 5 November 2026

In short: iakobin labs are free, experimental apps. Use them with care, don't misuse them, and don't rely on them for important decisions. We may change or stop them.

1. Who we are

iakobin labs (iakobin.com and its subdomains) is run by iakobin, a small independent business in the Netherlands. Contact: info@iakobin.com.

2. Accepting these terms

These general terms apply when you use an iakobin app. Some apps have their own extra terms, which you accept when you start using that app. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.

3. Your account

4. Experimental apps

The apps are early versions. They may contain errors, change, lose data, be unavailable, or be stopped without notice. Keep your own copy of anything important. The apps are provided free of charge and "as is", without guarantees.

5. Not professional advice

6. Acceptable use

You may not:

Found a security problem? Please email us; we're grateful for responsible reports.

7. Your content

What you enter stays yours. You give us permission to store and show it so the app can work for you (and, where the app is meant for sharing, for others). We may remove content that breaks these terms.

8. Suspending or closing accounts

We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or others at risk. Where reasonable, we tell you first.

9. Liability

We do our best to keep iakobin working and safe, but we can't promise it is always available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for damage caused by using, or not being able to use, the apps, including loss of data. This doesn't limit liability that can't be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. We update the date at the top, and tell account holders by email about important changes. If you keep using iakobin after a change, you accept the new terms.

11. Law

Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless the law gives you, as a consumer, the right to go to a court where you live.
